I recently held my baby shower at this hotel, and the experience was absolutely wonderful. The team were incredibly helpful from start to finish, from assisting with the setup to giving us the entire room to host the event. We had a few dietary requirements, and they handled everything perfectly.
The food was delicious and beautifully presented, and the location itself was stunning, which made the day feel even more special. I’d definitely come back again and highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to host an event. Thank you to the entire team for making my baby shower so memorable!

What an amazing afternoon tea event with family & friends to celebrate our Golden Wedding Anniversary. We chose the venue because the location/views were outstanding. From making the original booking right through to the event on the day, each and every member of staff helped to make our event absolutely superb. We had a private room for our exclusive use that had stunning views and we were able to set things up ahead of time so it perfectly matched our requirements. The food was delightful & we wouldn’t hesitate in recommending it to anyone looking for an out of town, friendly, picturesque venue. Would definitely come here again.

We hosted our friends baby shower here and it was the perfect venue for it! We had a delicious afternoon tea. The staff were so kind and helpful. Ella helped us coordinate the event and was so accommodating to all needs. Alicia was so helpful on the day. She went above and beyond to make the day special. Found us pens that we’d forgotten and a table to elevate our decorations. We couldn’t be more grateful! We will be back when another baby makes an appearance I’m sure!

A Wonderful Baby Shower at Mercure North The Grange! Oh, what a lovely time we had! We hosted my daughter’s baby shower at Mercure North The Grange, and I couldn’t have asked for a better place. From the moment we arrived, the staff were so warm and welcoming, making sure everything was just right for our special day. The room was set up beautifully—plenty of space for all of us to chat, laugh, and celebrate. The afternoon tea was absolutely delicious! The scones were warm, the sandwiches were fresh, and the little cakes were almost too pretty to eat (almost!). Everyone kept saying how lovely it all was, and I must agree. The hotel itself is in such a peaceful spot, surrounded by greenery, which made it feel even more special. We took so many photos, and I know we’ll all treasure the memories of this day forever. A huge thank you to the wonderful staff who made everything run so smoothly. If you’re thinking of hosting a baby shower or any celebration, I can’t recommend Mercure North The Grange enough. It was simply perfect!

Really lovely afternoon tea for my daughters baby shower. Food and service were excellent. There was a large party in the next room but we did not feel as if we were forgotten at anytime. Staff are friendly and happy to help. The hotel is in a beautiful countryside setting.
Nicky – Mar 2025 We arranged a baby shower for 34 guests for my daughter on Nov 2nd. We had afternoon tea and it was wonderful. The staff were so lovely, welcoming and supportive and were on hand at all times. Katie arranged the event with me and had passed on all of the information to the staff working that weekend perfectly so it went really smoothly. The afternoon tea was generous and delicious and the staff were attentive consistently. The room was set up well and it was so lovely overlooking the surroundings. The hotel itself was great with plenty of parking. I would highly recommend this hotel and would have no qualms to arrange another event here. Thank you for a great Saturday afternoon.
